Coconut Grove Port Dickson

After passing by coconut groove sign board many times, and heard of good review about it from my younger cousin, I decided to drag my boyfie along to visit. This restaurant is part of the Regency Tanjung Tuan Beach Resort. It is located at the 5th mile Jalan Pantai Port Dickson. The dining atmosphere is very relaxing as it is by the beach. We were there during the sunset thus we get to take some pretty pictures even without a professional camera.

Okok I shall cut the lovey dovey scene. (My main intention is just to share how chillaxing is the environment around the restaurant. Hahaha.)
So after monkeying around the beach, we seat ourselves and start ordering food for dinner.
This restaurant actually offered various food type. From western food, to local delight. They even serve steamboat. We wanted to opt for steamboat(min 2pax) that cost rm35/pax for one soup, or rm45/pax for two diff soup but the waiter said it is not recommended as the wind is a bit too strong to keep the fire burning constant. Therefore we decided to go for something western.
Grilled platter - RM55
Seafood platter - RM35
Overall the dining experience is acceptable (because I really enjoy eating by the sea). The food ingredients are not fresh and taste one of a kind. The food is totally not worth the price. I would suggest you to order something cheaper (eg. Fried rice, or maybe just a drink) just for the sake of experiencing the dining environment if you are on a budget. Please don't forget to bring extra cash as it charged 15% service tax but the credit card machine ran down.

Restoran Aden - Yemeni & Arabic Cuisine in PD

It's a random dinner date with my bro on a Monday night. We randomly went into a newly open (probably open less than a year) Arabic Yemeni cuisine restaurant - Restoran Aden. I believe it is a halal restaurant as it is ran by a Malay lady entreupreuner. Impressive.
Here are the food and drinks that we have tried.
Aden Tea with Milk(Recommended)
Lime juice with milk(recommended)
Grilled fish (not recommended, too burnt)
I forgotten the name (Recommended)
Lamb with Arabic bread (neutral)
Cucumber yogurt (Recommended. Cooling)
Russian Roulette (Recommended. Rich)
Look..They serve Black Forest cake, choc indulgence cake, Russian roulette cake, pistachio baklawa and rice pudding as dessert.
Now I know where I can filled my sweet tooth crave...behehehe.

Other than dessert, this place also sell various type of Arabic drinks. Very interesting place that is worth checking out.

However I see there are some improvement needed to be done(or maintain) in this place.
1. The speed of serving food.
2. The staff communication skill.
3. Cleanliness (not to say its dirty but it would be great if the owner continue keeping up with restaurant hygiene)
4. The smell of the restaurant (Not too sure what is the smell when I first enter the restaurant. It smells like lemongrass or some kind of mosquito repellent spray. Hope it is some kind of organic item instead of chemical)

Overall, it was a nice dining experience in Port Dickson. The price is slightly more expensive than other local dining place. It is consider reasonable to me nevertheless. Still hope they come out with some special promotion or deal for regular customer. :D

Big Mouth Burger Seremban 2

On this lazy Sunday,I have decided to collect my long overdue blood test report in Seremban. Afterwards, my boyfie came over from kl to meet me up for lunch. We have decided to try something new (to us) and after doing a quick research, boyfie decided to bring me to try out 'Big Mouth Burger'. It is located at seremban 2 uptown avenue (same row with paparich). This burger chain can also be found in cheras and subang.

It used construction theme and I am very fond to it.
It was actually 12 noon but the restaurant is all empty. Boyfie claimed that he actually booked the whole place just for me (Ya right).

Since the whole restaurant was so empty on a Sunday noon, I was a bit paranoid to try out initialy. But my curiosity able to defeat my doubt.
And guess what, I love it very much. (They have limited burger choices).
The burger is huge, bigger than the one in burger lab. It is fresh. The staff is quite friendly and he actually serve us the burger to our table instead of having to pick it up from the counter(since we are the only customers). I felt #likeaboss. Hahaha.

The above two pictures are different kind of burger but sorry, I forgotten the names.
My boyfie muka gembira :))
.... pdlengjie excitement. (Ehh. Give face a bit laaaa)

I would rate the burger here 7/10, and the one in burger lab 8/10. Would rate higher if they really serve pork. Behehe.
However I don't mind coming back to this restaurant as the deco is very unique. Most importantly, I don't need to que up like a begger outside the door waiting for burgers like what we did in seapark for burgerlab.

Line - I Love Coffee

Line app started of as a social messenger medium with the cutest ever emoticon.
After a while, they started to add in some social games and I am one of the victim of their cute graphic game, I Love Coffee. I am not a coffee lover anyway. Thanks to my friend who influenced me. Lol. It offers various type of decorations, quests, different kind of coffee, pastries. Very interesting and educational game for teenager or children to learn bout running a coffee shop.
Here's my main branch:
Pretty cute and unique isn't it? (Of course la! Spent a lot effort in it leh.)
By the way do u see a car outside my cafe? That's how we commute to our second branch. Oh yes, second branch. Their third, forth branch is coming soon, but dono when. Quite looking forward.

The second branch is Valentine's theme. Some of the nicer deco needs to be purchase using real cash, thus u might not really like my 'so pink' Valentine's theme cafe.
In case u r one of the 'victim', feel free to add me! Ceileinzuu

Haha Cheerios!

Mamee kari xtra pedas

Have I mentioned that I am a lazy cook? Oh, maybe I should say I m the instant noodle cooking expert. Back in Uni life, nongshim shinramen is my all time favorite. I actually ordered a bulk from Amazon and had it almost three times a week. Hence, I dare to claim myself an instant noodle cooking expert. :p
I know instant noodle is very very harmful to the body, but I promise I have reduce the amount of intake right after I have graduated.
After my first try of the famous My kuali white curry, my addiction towards instant noodle is back, once a while. Therefore I went to get myself 'something similar' which is totally disappointing. Mamee kari Xtra Pedas. It just taste like the regular yellow packaging curry noodle (pardon me, I forgot the name). Mediocre.
However pls be warn that is indeed extra pedas. As a spicy lover, I added few more chilli paddy to hit the climax. As a result, I cried for help. Luckily I found a yogurt in the fridge to cool down my fire. (Just fiy, dairy products sooth tongue spiciness) hehehe.

In conclusion. Don waste your time on this mamee kari xtra pedas if you are expecting something rich. This noodle is plain spicy :p

Pil Herba Teck Aun

I am a simple and straight forward lady. When you are good, I will talk bout you; when you are bad, I will give you my humble suggestions. So the weather have been rather hot these days. With the additional consumption of Chinese New Year cookies, biscuits,  snacks....oh and the super bomb white curry instant noodle, I am finally suffering from body heatiness. Here is my all time favorite solution..
Pill Herba teck aun (德安凉茶丸)

This product is made in Malaysia, specifically Penang. (So Penang is really a place that is famous for food and supplement, I supposed) It is approved by kkm(kementerian kesihatan msia). It claims to reduce body heatiness, reduce liver heat, reduce ulcer, indigestion, headache caused by heat. You can get it from Chinese medicine hall. And tell you what, I support that claim. Try it and you will believe me. :)

Penang White Curry Noodle

Yesterday, I saw my mum's friend posted two bowls of Penang white curry mee on Facebook. I have always wanted to try this noodle. Jokingly, I 'made a wish'(commented) on her post hoping to have the same thing. Surprisingly there's a packet of the noodle existed on my breakfast table...
Tadaaaaaa......!!!!
Coincidently, I am alone for dinner today, so I get to try it today. I must say.......

....it is IRRESISTABLE!!!!!!

I am not an instant noodle fans, in fact I am trying to avoid it due to the scientifically proven harmful ingredients contain. The noodle is so chewy 弹牙,the soup is soooooo rich, sooooo flavorful. It doesn't taste like instant noodle, it tastes like a bowl of curry noodle from Penang hawker center. How I wish I have shrimps and bean curd 豆腐卜to complement my bowl of hearty dinner.

Sadly, this noodle is not available everywhere yet. If anyone found it anywhere nearby me, please let me know!!! I don't mind receiving as a gift too! :D

Before I forget, I feel so grateful to have my small wish granted! Thank you Aunty Gooi Hua! :) behehehe

Kenny Rogers @ PD waterfront

Here's my first time dining experience at newly opened Kenny Rogers Port Dickson Waterfront.

The very first moment I stepped in to the restaurant, I wasn't been greeted. It doesn't even have a 'please seat your self' or 'please wait to be seated' sign there. With my humble common sense, I helped myself. I have decided to sit at a place where i faced the sea. The dining environment is fine, but it is lacking of hygiene maintenance and it smells stink.
After waited for bout 5 minutes, I have finally been served. I have decided to try out their latest 'Kenny's Terriyaki chicken' and one of their recommended drink 'Babylon tropical'..
After waited for 10 minutes, my food came first. Here's the outcome...
Tiny bit of cold Mac & Cheese (I changed my side), cold mushroom soup, cold chicken, no muffin.
When I was about to finish my meal, the server came and tell me that they are out of their recommended 'babylon tropical'. Then I change it to hot caffe mocha.
Seriously, which part of it looks like mocha?? The cup, maybe. Lol.
I guess they gave me the wrong drink.
However the drink is still acceptable to me as it is neither too sweet, nor bitter. (I am not a real coffee person by the way)

So here's my final bill. Oh of course, not forgetting to inform the cashier that I didn't get the muffin..

I like their banana flavor and vanilla flavor muffin. Sadly they left mocha, choc, pandan, orange flavors. Thus I have to pick something out from my usual pick.

Presenting the orange flavored muffin.
Tadaaaa! (Mehhhhhh)

In conclusion, I am quite disappointed with Kenny Rogers. Their quality and quantity control has dropped so much. Also, they should also train their staffs
to be more professional and put on a name tag so that everyone knows who is good and who needs more improvement.

Green Pea Cookies

Three more weeks till Chinese New Year. Since Chinese New Year cookies are getting more and more pricey, I have decided to make some on my own. Today I have decided to make a green pea cookie. I have regretted to add in too much flour till I have problem finish shaping them. Thank God I have an assistant aka boyfie to help me up. Not a perfect piece, but a sincere and most importantly they are edible. :p
Here's the recipe for the green pea cookie i have made:
500g green pea powder
400g self raising flour
300g icing sugar (The cookie ended up a bit too sweet for me. I would suggest to reduce it to 250g or lesser, else use castor sugar)
Cooking oil to blend everything up (I added some salted butter cos I would like to have my green pea cookie to smell richer)
Egg(to bind the mixture even better. I didn't add it, it's still ok but a little buy fragile when i shape it)

Preheat your oven 165 degree Celcius.
After shaping your dough to the baking pan, then just bake it for about 25minutes (time is varies. Your cookie is done if it's a harden a bit. Don't over bake it if u don want to eat a rock cookie :p)
Let it cool and then keep it tight in a container.

We spent about 4 hours making 7trays(about 252) of cookies as we have problem shaping it. We will definitely use the cookie press if we have one(soon to get one). Hahaha.
